Warren Jeffs, a self-proclaimed Mormon prophet, was recently charged as an accomplice to rape after coercing a 14-year-old girl to marry her 19-year-old cousin. Mr. Jeffs is head of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, a branch of the Mormon church created by the great schism of 1929, when the Mormon church actually began enforcing their 1904 Second Manifesto, renouncing polygamy.
Within the FLDS -- which numbers around 10,000 in Colorado City, Arizona and Hildale, Utah -- a man must take at least 3 wives to get to heaven, where a woman's path is blazed thru unthinking domestic servitude. Jeffs told the victim if she did not perform sexually she would go to hell. That's right, hell. But, really, do you want to go to a heaven where this guy's the prophet?
